Dr. Mary Lynne McElhaney

Dr. Mary Lynne McElhaney attended North Carolina State University on a four year swimming scholarship.  She graduated in 1984, with honors, receiving as BS degree in Zoology.  Secondly, she attended the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry and received her D.D.S. degree in 1988.  Following her graduation from UNC, she completed a one year general practice residency at the University of Michigan Hospitals.  throughout this program, she treated medically compromised patients that were too ill to receive dental care outside of the hospital setting.  Dr. McElhaney began practicing general restorative and cosmetic dentistry in Burlington, NC in 1989.

When not practicing in the office, Dr. Mcelhaney enjoys competing in Triathlons around North Carolina and the U.S.  She is the proud mother of two children, Griffin and Mackenzie.  They reside in Elon, NC.
